eXo , provider of services that accelerate Java web sites and applications in cloud environments, has brought in $6 million in a first round of funding . Based in San Francisco, Calif., the company is backed by Auriga Partners and XAnge Capital . It plans to use the new financing to expand its sales and marketing operations in North America.
